Fire Alarms

When purchasing our home, it was noticeable on the fire alarms that they were covered with paint. When the alarms are first fitted, they are covered by Blue dust covers. However, Abbey and it's painters believed it was okay to paint the ceilings with these covers on - the result - you now have an alarm covered with paint. If you read the directions around the fire alarm itself, you will notice that it reads "DO NOT PAINT".

If you are unlucky enough to have the same problem, contact Abbey. They will send somebody round to remove, tidy up and finish the job as they were supposed to!
